I was very pleased to visit New Life on Sunday July 12th. Actually, my husband and I were celebrating our 6th wedding anninversary. At a time in my life when being stuck in a pit of despair seemed to be all my life would amount to, I was directed to New Life. How ironic that my family church back home is "New Life" In Christ Fellowship Church. For the first time in two years since moving to Florida, I felt a sense of home. A lot of that had to do with just being in the presence of God.

I am rambling, but I am so overwhelmed with the blessings and favor of God Almighty just since Sunday. Having not given tithes in so long, I gladly gave my last $5 for offering on Sunday. My prayer was that this day would be a turning point, my husband agreed. Monday, I interviewed for a new position. Tuesday, I was offered the position. And today, Wednesday, I have unexplainable peace of mind. I am ready to move into the realm of the life God wants me to possess and beyond the familiar and into unchartered territory...literally. A week ago, I was praying, "Lord, you said you know the plans you have for me...to prosper and not harm me..." Well, I was feeling so in harms way and was counting on God to rescue me...Though I am headed further into unchartered territory of my life, I am definitely more confident and am blessed to have heard Pastor McCaskill on Sunday.
